I get curry chicken at my local Chinese restaurant
Indian all the way!
I love all curries: Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, African, Caribbean…. they are all good!
The Thai. I love the green curry. The name “green” curry comes from the color of the dish. Other Thai curry dishes are identified by their colors, such as yellow and red curry.
The main ingredients for the sauce consist of coconut milk, green curry paste, eggplant, sugar, fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves, and thai basil leaves. Green curry paste is made by pounding in a mortar green chillies, shallots, garlic, galangal, fresh turmeric, shrimp paste and salt. The paste is briefly fried in split coconut cream, then coconut milk, meat or fish, and vegetables added along with a pinch of brown sugar. Finally, kaffir lime leaves, phrik chii faa (“sky-pointing chilies”, large mild chilies) and thai basil are added just at the end of cooking for fragrance. When the curry is made with fish or seafood, krachai (wild ginger, Chinese keys) is added.
Indian curry or Caribbean curry. my favourite curry dish is curry duck or curry goat. and curry channa and potato. very nice!
I’m not fussy, but the hotter the better!
I love fish curry with rice in a Pakistani kitchen prepared by my mother or myself.
Thai Green Chicken Curry, please. I dream about it sometimes.
Indian! But Indonesian and Thai are right behind.
I like all Thai red curries.
I am a former chef and have had them all, I like the coconut based ones alot, but like Rachel give me a Jamaican Curried Goat or a Trinidadian Curried Pork over Lo Mein anyday or the ones that come inside a West Indian “Roti” sort of a burrito with a curried meat (chciken -bone in and out, goat, beef or channa a chickpea one) and I cannot forget the breakfast of champions a “double” in the morning with a hot spiced tea, I used to love that.
I was born in India. Besides Indian curries, I have tried Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Jamaican curries.
As compared with Indian curries my opinion follows
Jamaican are too hot.
Thai are too strong.
Chinese are mild and weak
Japanese are mild weak.
Pakistan are same as India.
Srilanka are hotter
Bangladesh are a better version of Indian Balti
I MUST say one thing
The best Indian Restaurants are not located in India, they are located in UK.
I like Indian curries. My favorites are following
Lamb Roganjosh
Makhni (Buttery) Chicken
Aloo Gobhi (Potatoes and Cauliflower)
Cholay (Chickpeas)
I like Curry Chicken from Singapore recipe & Japanese Curry Rice
Definitely Indian.
I’m not crazy about thai food because of how they put hot and cold food (temperature, NOT spiciness) on top of each other.
dont dare for curries?
