when cooking a curry, how do you remove the pungent smell in onions even after sauteing the onions?
there is a very raw pungent taste to the onions even after sauteing the onions, so when you mix this with the chicken and cook the dish the end taste is a mild raw onion taste.

Use the exhaust fan while cooking. Pour some vinegar in boiling water and let it boil for a while.
I don’t have a clue what you are talking about? The food, pans, conatiners et? What exactly are you trying to remove the smell from?
The smell comes from the juice in the onion. Be sure to use a very sharp knife when slicing onions. After slicing them, you can rinse them under water or even soak them in a bowl of water. If you use a device to cut the onions, that requires you to press the onion through the blades, you will get a ton more stink from pressing the onion. Rubbing your hands on stainless steel will take the smell of onions (and garlic) off of your hands. They even make a stainless steel bar that is shaped like soap for washing your hands after slicing onions and or garlic. You could also try using different onions. I think white onions have a stronger smell than yellow and purple onions seem to smell the least. The white part of green onions aren’t very offensive.
