Peeled, sliced cucumber spears or chunks, with a yogurt or yogurt/dill dipping sauce. Very easy – just peel your cucumbers and slice up how you like best, then mix a tub of plain yogurt with some dill (or mint) to taste, and serve!

Hope this helps.

Stewed apples make a nice side dish-you can add some raisins, fresh berries, and nuts. Also, a nice, refreshing salad of sliced tomato and cucumber, with a yogurt tzatziki sauce would be a nice refreshing, cooling dish to cool off his mouth from the spice of the curry.
