What would happen if I fed curry to a hampster?
For a science experiment. It’s an assignment that my honors class is asked to do. The assignment is NOT feeding curry to animals but an experiment pertaining to animals and one of the options if food intake. I thought about feeding curry to a hampster but before I do it I was wondering if it could be fatal or very harmful.

Good luck getting the hamster to actually EAT the curry. With as many spices that are in curry, it’s likely to really irritate the digestive tract which will result in lots of pain for the hamster and possibly death.
Hamsters aren’t like us and they can’t tolerate “spicy” foods like curry.
DON’T DO IT! If you need help with your experiment, here’s an interesting topic…I fed my gerbil an entire carrot, his poop turned orange for a couple days. when I feed him junk food (not very often) it becomes turquoise. maybe not the answer you were looking for, but it would be best you didn’t harm any animals in the making of this experiment.
Well, The curry has spices in it and could really hurt the hamsters stomach. That could result in lots of pain, and possibly death. There not like humans we can tolerate spicy food but they can’t. It could damage the hamsters digestive system and they could die. I would not do this, but it’s your choice.
Curry farts…
learn to spell hamster, i’m sure poor spelling will deduct points
