Red pepper paste is usually the heat source; typically from Thai or birds eye chiles, you could also use cayenne or scotch bonnet
There all type of chili’s they use
you do not need to add spices to make ur curry hotter, jus keep it in microwave oven for 5 minutes..! u will get ur extra hot curry ready..!!
Please do let me know, how was ur curry..!
habanero oil
use cut up bird eye Chile’s or chili paste
Chili peppers of any sort, fresh or dried. Most other curry ingredients are not ‘hot’ at all.
- Note that some ‘chili powder’ is a mixture and is not very spicy, so use pure ground chili instead.
Indians use thin walled chillies, so no American/Mexican ones, other than cayenne varieties. Thai chillies are useful in Indian dishes.
Other spices include black pepper, long pepper and cubeb pepper, and ginger.
to combat the chilli burn in the mouth/lips, eat plain sugar, not water, milk or anything else with calcium in, especially yoghurt.
