in a place where curry leaves are not available one should know what is this plant called so that it can be grown at home.If you have a picture of this plant or its leaf please tell?

“kari”. That’s where the word “curry” supposedly comes from!
I have heard also refered to as “Curry Mene” as far as growing it at home, I see no problem, it resembles a small bayleaf is darker green, has multiple leaves to the branch, and I have found it most larger center, in in the Oriental market, being from Canada, I go to Toronto were there is a large Asian community, and saw some just last week there, you also can find the dried, that might be you best bet, as far as growing them, you would have to find a Oriental store that stocks vegetable seed, they sell one for bok choy and other seeds, so that might have them too.

In hindi, it is called “curry patta”, or “meeti neem”…
The botanical name is “Murraya koenigii Spreng”, but I dont know the vernacular english name.
