What can I use to substitute curry in chicken?
i’m making a honey mustard chicken, and the recipe calls for curry, i personally do not like the taste of curry. Is there something else I can use instead of curry? I know all I have to do is omit that ingredient, but I would like another spice added to give the chicken a little zing.

You could use a little cayenne pepper or some chilli powder. With honey mustard, freshly ground black pepper is sometimes all you need to put some spice into it
The other thing I would suggest is using yellow (English) mustard and wholegrain mustard to put some ‘zing’ into it (as yellow mustard is much hotter than wholegrain mustard).
To make your own:
Combine equal parts ground coriander, ground cumin, ground pepper, turmeric, and ground ginger
OR 4 parts ground coriander + 2 parts ground cumin + 2 parts ground tumeric + 1 part ground ginger
