10 minutes, that’s it for vegetables. If you have added meat, that depends on the type, size…
One word of caution, don’t boil it hard, like dairy products, the heat sometimes does split the coconut milk, and then you have a watery bottom and a bit of curdled top, I am a former chef with 20 years experience in Canada and worked in Jamaica also, they use alot of coconut milk, for cooking dishes like “Rundown” and other foods.
I also worked in Singapore and had alot of experience with Malay and Thai foods. Just make sure to bring to a simmer on a gas or electric hob, just make sure if your using gas not to keep it on high for long, it to will spill over like dairy milk.
if they were dry spices the packet should have told you to fry the spices for a while in oil, this brings out the flavours and aromas you should do this before you add anything else which needs cooking then add the coconut milk at the end to thicken up the curry
