How do I remove curry smell from a cashmere coat?
I used to live with a lot of indian neighbors. When I moved, I noticed that my coat smelled like curry. I’ve had it drycleaned (it is cashmere and a dry-clean only coat) at least three times at different places, and each time the curry smell still lingered. Is there an alternative way to remove the smell? I’d hate to get rid of it, but the stench is too strong and I cant stand to wear it.

Nope, curry is tough. I used to lease apartments and we usually had to REPLACE the entire kitchen cabinetry after an Indian family moved out.
Cashmere can be cleaned with baby shampoo the lie flat to dry.goo luck. Do not put sweater in wash machin. hand wash only.
