How can you remove a strong curry odor from your house?

We’re moving into a new house and the interior smells strongly like curry. Any help on how to eliminate the odors would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

While airing out the house, wash the interior walls using Lysol and a pail of warm water. Lysol is great for stuff like that. Use a large sponge like ones used to wash a car. Then clean things like carpet, upholstery, and drapes.

new paint? leave lots of baking soda boxes everywhere. sounds like lots of indians lived there. Curry seems to seep into everything!

Walls and Ceilings – wash with TCP and paint
Carpet – replace pad and carpet
Kitchen cabinets and hardwood floors – wash and seal or replace
Window blinds/drapes – wash or replace
Ventilation – temporary fix, has not worked in my house thus far
Air Fresheners/vinegar/candles/incense – temporary fix
Ozone generators – see for cautions about safety due to
chemical reactions and by-products; also government cites studies that
these devices are ineffective
Air Filtering devices – same safety and efficacy concerns as ozone generators
Treatment to Air conditioning system/air heating system – same safety
and efficacy concerns as ozone generators
Isolate odors/remove at soure – This solution appears to be too late
after seven years that owners occupied the house.
Appliances – replace oven and microwave, costly and does not work
