Does anyone know a good east-asian curry recipe?

I’m not looking for Indian curry. I’m looking for maybe a Japanese curry, because it’s modified a little in the east. The only ingredient I have is the actual Indian curry spice, not like an instant curry mix from an asian grocery store.

I usually cook it with potatoes, carrots, and onions. And I eat it with rice. So it’s Curry&Rice; カレーライス

My Japanese teacher makes reeeeally good curry. I wanna make some too :]
