Can I bring food from home in my carry on like curry? (is it considered gel or liquid in nature?)?
Well I am flying with United and I am trying to figure out if I could bring food from home to school. I’d hate to have to throw the food out there b/c I couldn’t take it through security.

curry is a powder. if the food is already cooked then just throw it away curry is rather cheap, if you are buying the curry spice then you can take it with you and cook it at home.
Yup, even if it’s in a tin – it’s a liquid, even if it is chunky and comes out of the can looking quite tinny.
The only option is to pack it in the suitcase you’ll be checking in. Put it in a Tupperware (or similar) and then put that in two plastic bags so just in case it does leak, it won’t ruin your other stuff.
