Anyone know a good way to get dried on curry stains out a carpet?
Spilt curry on my carpet and stupidly let it dry out before I tried to clean it up. Tried using stain removers from supermarket but they’re not having much effect. It actually looks like its dyed the carpet fibres bright yellow.
Can anyone suggest anything that will get the stain out?

Curry (along with mustard) is one of the most difficult stains to get out. Do not apply heat of any type. The best thing to use is an organic stain remover oxidizer, like Oxi-clean. This may not work, though.
Use Windex with ammonia to get the color up. Dab with a paper towel – try not to rub the stain as this will only spread it around. If you still see a stain, apply a combination solvent, like Shout, and let sit for 15 minutes. Thoroughly flush the spot with cool water.
